Today it is a bank holiday in Austria. I have to do something for the university.

St. Marx cemetery

Yesterday I was with a friend at St. Marx cemetery. The cemetery dates back to the Biedermeier period. Mozart`s grave is there, but we did not see it. It rained strongly, when we were 1 hour at the cemetery. We went to a Pub and ate a fantastic chicken. It was an Irish Pub.

I went shopping with my mother and we were in a Restaurant this Wednesday. Many barriers with a wheelchair, for example Increased in the restaurant.

Sando ate twice today. But I think that he has still pain. He gets pain medication. Emily hissed at him, I think that she does not like the smell of his drugs. I worked today and on Tuesday I'm going to Carinthia, but only for two days. The first May is a holiday in Austria.

Sando's dental surgery

Sando have had a dental surgery, his third in his 6-year life. He still walks a few steps and then falls asleep again. Poor cat. Emily is afraid of him, she sees him from a safe instance. This year Emily has her first dental surgery. I have to be at home the whole day to watch Sando.

My Mother is fine, she can move your hand more. She said that she was very angry the first time, but now she can handle her handicap. I was by the dentist yesterday and Sando has an tooth surgery on Friday.

and Emily is sleeping. Some days she sleeps till 12 am. Sando had his breakfast and now he is sleeping.

I think my cats are lazy.

Yesterday the university starts. I was in the first lecture and the computer from the professor did not work. I met a friend, she also attend this lecture. I did my homework and was watching a Deneuve film. Daily routine.

It is great that I do not work this week. On Saturday I will go to my Mum. We will have a birthday dinner on Sunday, with her nurse and my Brother and his wife. Mother's second nurse will leave her, she will work in a hospital in Graz (The capitol of styria). She was a good nurse, but she cannot handle with older people. My Mum is not very difficult, but some things she does not want to change, only little things, like the knives have a place since 15 years. But an old tree.... This nurse changed some things in Mother`s kitchen.

Time is running, my Father passed away for 6 Months, tomorrow.

Yesterday I watched a culture program on TV, Stocker's first place for Dracula was Styria, funny, is not it?

My time in Carinthia

was fine. My Mum is feeling better. The weather was cold and rainy. This week I do some things, like blood tests and other horrible things. I have holidays from the university. The next four days I work. I hope your Easter was great. I ate lots of bacons and eggs.

on Monday from 9-9 and was very tired. Today I had a day off and tomorrow I will work from 9-9. I am looking forward to my Mum. Today I was shopping for Eastern, only foods and cats food. A friend of mine will feed the aristos when I am in Carinthia.

met some friends. We had a fantastic evening.

I phoned with my Mum, she is fine, no pain and I think she is happy with her nurse. The first time it was difficult for her to have a nurse in her flat.

I had a lecture about Freud and Schnitzler, was superb. Today I have to do something for the university and in my flat. Tomorrow I will meet a friend. It is cold in Vienna.

Today I got up at 7 clock a lecture, so I have free the whole day. In Austria, a lots of reports about corrupt politicians in the mass media. The policy sucks.

I will vacate my apartment and then I go buy an iron, a jacket, sandals and slippers. If I have time I am going to the hairdresser. Tomorrow I work in the evening, and on Friday I meet up with some friends after the university. Right now I'm not so sad, try to have a normal schedule. My Mum is getting better and I hope that the cancer will stop.

PS: I will come (If my Mum is fine) at August to London.

A friend, he is a a psychiatrist, meant that maybe she had a delirious from the medication. She gets an opiate pain patch and got in the hospital and nursing home sedatives. Maybe she has not Alzheimer.

It's hard for her, that a strange woman, her nurse lives with her and that she can not go. I'm going next week from Thursday to Saturday to Carinthia, a friend will feed my cats, but he leaves on Saturday to Munich.

I have the next two weeks holidays in the university.

This semester I am in the university, than I have a break for two hours, there I go at home, than I go to the university, break...

I visit many interesting lectures this year. From the crusade to Middle High German. Only statistics is very boring, especially because I can not very well Ecxell.

Today I had a lecture about the crusade in Jerusalem. The professor was teaching at Stanford. He is French and speaks good German, sometimes he can not remember a word.

The sun is shining and it is very warm. I called my mother, she sounds good. Her second nurse does not will look after my mother any more, because my mother always scolded her. Unfortunately, the Alzheimer made her aggressive.
I am glad that my mother is not in a nursing home. The most nursing homes in Austria are not very good. My mother was 16 days in a nursing home, she decided that. She was very unhappy there. She got at 10 clock breakfast and was hungry. She was not wrapped many hours and the old people sit for hours at the table and bored. I was with her every day, so it was easier for her, but she is glad to be back at her home. We get 900 Euros from the Austrian State for the nurses , her own pension and her witness pension sold the nurses. It is very expensive, but it is better for her to be at home. My Brother and I pay for the meal.

I bought a new memory card for my camera, 16 GB, the old one has 4 GB. I'm curious, how can I make a lot of photos. I shot a video of my mother. It's scary how my strong, beautiful mother has changed. She thinks that I'm still going to school.

On Sunday, I set the alarm clock at 7. On Monday I woke up and thought I could sleep for an hour, the exam begins at 9 clock. When I went to the university the exam was already over, because they started at 8 clock. But the professor had another exam, so I could write the exam. I am sometimes confused.

This weekend I go to Carinthia.

My weekend in Carinthia was very nice

My Mum has a bit Alzheimer and it is hard for her to remember on some things, but she recognize me the most time.

The weather was very fine, very sunny and too hot for March.

This week I have an exam and have to learn for the exam next Monday. Lots to do in the next week.

interesting lectures this semester. On Tuesday and Wednesday I have lectures from 8-9 pm, with a break. In this breaks I go to my cats and eat something.

This weekend I visit my Mother. She is very happy that she is at home. Her 24 hours nurse is very nice. This week the second one will come. I hope that she is also very nice.

Lots to do at the moment, learning, lectures, cats, two evenings I work.

The exam went well. Yesterday I was shopping, a bag for the university and at the evening I was by the birthday party of a friend. Today I was very lazy, tomorrow the university starts.
